If I Had A Pen Name What Would It Be?

Since I write in different genres, I find myself every now and then I write books in heat levels from 3+ and up and therefore have created myself a Pen Name which is Madame C. I honestly do not know why I like reading and writing steamy novels but I find it fun and relaxing.

Before you judge me, you should know there used to be a time I hated reading and writing books like this then I expanded my reading to read a book at least once just to see if I like it. Books like this are well an escape to me. Maybe it’s because I am single and are itching for that second chance with that boy who is now a man now but either way my Heart and I both want that second chance. Now I get that steamy books aren’t everyone’s thing and I respect that but I also ask that you respect the fact that I like some Romance books too. 

I am a romantic at Heart and actually I think I always have been. I don’t know about anyone else but I have been reading Harlequin Romances and yes SMUT books too for as long as I can remember. Maybe that is my Problem, when I was a teenager I got an an unexpected pleasant surprise, the best looking guy was actually paying attention to me. Did he have his own agenda? I believe he did because my theory always has been that he tried to use Love as a bullying tactic. The Result: He paid for it dearly. How? He developed feelings and yes possibly even Love with a girl who was considered an outcast, shy wallflower and very unpopular. Sadly he made his choice which was to leave without a word to me and over well… almost 40 years I have never heard from nor do I know where he is or what he is doing and yes I want to know those things. Maybe someday we will find one another again even just to talk to but I do know one thing and that is I will always love him no matter what and I believe there is someone out there for and boy do I hope I find him soon.

Hi Everyone Crystal And Daisy Mae here, so where have we been all this time?  Well on December 13, 2021 Crystal and the Dad that’s my human Dad got their second vaccine shots. Thankfully, no reaction for the Dad but for Crystal well that was a different story. Boy did Mom Crystal have a reaction. No not an allergic but her reaction was she got sick. She got the headache, earache, soar throat and a few other symptoms and has yet to get rid of them. She has tried everything she can think of but finally had to stop the cough drops for sore throats because one of the side effects was she started getting ulcers on her gums and gum line. Then what happens but life happens again and again and things are getting so stressed and frustrating she doesn’t know what to do except go live in fantasies and imagination. So Posting got put on the back burner and we are real sorry for that. We don’t know when we’ll post again so were on an indefinite temporary break.

What I Thought:

Wow!! This book is mysterious, suspenseful, very intriguing, a page turner, easy to read, lots of plot twists and turns, keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat. I actually hated to put this book down. I loved this book. This book was excellent and well written. Kudos to the author. I look forward to reading the rest of this author’s books in print format.

My Book Recommendation:

I highly recommend this book and suggest you go out and buy this book, read it yourself and hopefully review it. I will definitely be reading this book again in the future.

A Friendly Suggestion:

Parents, Grandparents, Legal Guardians, if for some reason you question whether your kids or grandkids should read the book just by reading the book excerpt or by looking at the book cover then I suggest you read the book first yourself then make your decision. But I found nothing wrong with reading this book.

With Heavy Hearts….

Daisy Mae And I  are just heartbroken. We found out today more of our Kitty Cat friends have earned their wings and passed over The Rainbow Bridge. With 2020 being rough on us all in one way or another and Christmas around the corner, we’ve a lot to do including keeping 2020 at bay. The year 2020 has taken so many of our pets and Kitty Cat friends and made their Human owners heartbroken and really, really sad.

In the last few days, we have found out that we need send condolences to more Human pet owners. This time, they lost their Kitty Cats. To give these pet owners condolences please visit their sites and leave a comment. The most recent pet owners who lost a pet are:

Miss Ellen at 15 AND MEOWING  who just lost Jinx, her beautiful Kitty Cat.

Gracie from animal shelter volunteer life earned her wings and joined Jinx over The Rainbow Bridge.

Finally, Henri from his you tube channel Henri Chat Noir  . 

These 3 Kitty Cats joined the other pets who passed in 2020 and before and left their owners heartbroken. Although right now sadness and plenty of tears are in these pet owners eyes, in time their pain will ease but one thing is 100% for sure and that’s they’ll never forget their pet they lost.

Although all the pet owners who lost a friend in 2020 and before are sad right now always remember, your pet may not be by your side but will always be in your heart.

Your memories are golden of your pet and are meant to be shared with your friends & family. I don’t know what else to say Daisy Mae And I are just heartbroken at these deaths and so many happening too.

For those of you skeptical of The Rainbow Bridge, I assure you that there is a pet heaven too. Now I never heard of The Rainbow Bridge until I started  blogging but always believed that there was a Pet heaven. God loves all his animals and will always love them.

To those who recently lost a pet, our condolences. If you ever lost any type of pet in 2020 or before, you know the heartbreak of losing a pet. Yes, I even know that heartbreak and sadly have experienced many times over like some of you probably have.

Fawn/Deer Pictures + Bonus Picture

A little while ago I had gotten a picture of Mamma deer and her one fawn. Since then, 2 more fawns have shown up and since the trail camera went kablooey we got a new one and the pictures are much better.  Then of course it might have to with the fact its an upgraded version, it has High Definition, it has infrared picture taking and is it waterproof too? That’s a good question. I thought I would share some pictures from the new trail camera. The brand name is Stealth Camera 14. Short Story Review: Euphoria in the Desert

I read the ARC for this short story called Euphoria in the Desert. This short story was not only fun and witty but it was also clean and I think you would like it. I found it easy to read and a page turner. It kept my attention and I didn’t want to put it down. I rate this short story 5 stars.

So if you KU (Kindle Unlimited), read it or you can buy the book at Amazon.com. Not sure what the price is internationally but in Amazon US it is $.99. How long that price will last well I really don’t know. I really enjoyed this short story. It’s unpredictable.

Original Ranch Meatballs (Keto Friendly!) & Ranch Buffalo Wings

ORIGINAL RANCH MEATBALLS (KETO FRIENDLY!)

With the Superbowl approaching I thought it would be fun to do a couple of recipes for game day or anytime. I found my recipe on Hidden Valley Recipes|Game Day Recipe Ideas. The website is Hidden Valley Recipes| Game Day Recipe Ideas. The Particular Recipe I’m doing its link is: Original Ranch Meatballs (Keto Friendly!). Below are the recipes.

Prep: 25 MIN|                     Cook: 15 MIN|                                   Total: 40 MIN

Ingredients (4)                                    

1/2 cup beef broth

2 teaspoons Hidden Valley Ranch  Seasoning

1 pound ground beef

2 tablespoons butter or margarine

Step 1

Combine ground beef and dressing mix. Shape mixture into 24 meatballs. Melt butter in a skillet; brown meatballs on all sides. Add broth; and simmer 10 – 15 minutes or until cooked through. Serve warm with toothpicks. 

Step 2

ALL DONE!

* Recipe only gluten free when made with all gluten free ingredients. Read labels of all packaged ingredients to determine whether they contain   gluten.

RANCH BUFFALO WINGS

Prep: 5 MIN|                                            Cook: 40 MIN|                 Total: 45 MIN

Ingredients (8)

1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/4 cup hot pepper sauce

1 1-oz packet Hidden Valley Original Ranch Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix

24 chicken wing or drumettes

3 tablespoons vinegar

celery sticks

1 cup Hidden Valley Original Ranch Dressing

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2

In a small bowl, whisk together butter, hot sauce and vinegar. Dip drumettes in butter mixture; arrange in single layer in large baking pan. Sprinkle with Hidden Valley Original Ranch Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix. Bake until chicken is browned and an internal temperature of 165 degrees F has been reached, about 30 to 40 minutes. Sprinkle with paprika and your buffalo wings or hot wings are ready.

Step 3

Serve with Hidden Valley Original Ranch Dressing and celery sticks.

Step 4

ALL DONE!

Friendly Fill – Ins

This is Friendly Fill – Ins: Christmas Edition. Daisy Mae And I want to wish you everyone a very Merry Christmas And a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year. We would Love for you to join us in this blog hop along with 15 And Meowing and Four-Legged Furballs. Both Daisy Mae And I will be answering the set of 4 questions. So you will see 2 sets of questions. Answers will be in italics.

DAISY MAE’S ANSWER’S

1. Every Christmas, I get either put upstairs or put down in the basement since the other humans bring a dog. That’s OK though because that means the dog isn’t going after me. I also make sure there is enough room under the Christmas tree for all the catnip I’m expecting to get from Santa Paws. I have Santa Paws wrapped around my 4 little white paws with pink pads.

2. The day after Christmas, I explore all the boxes and bags that my wonderful humans get out again even if it’s just briefly.

3. ‘Twas the night before Christmas, and what was I doing but making room for all the catnip and other gifts I asked Santa Paws under the Christmas tree.

4. All I want for Christmas is catnip, catnip, catnip and even more catnip. I will also take toys and more catnip. Any questions Santa Paws?

CRYSTAL’S ANSWERS

1. Every Christmas, I try to get together with most of my family and celebrate the real reason why we celebrate Christmas. I also ask for an impossible present I know I probably won’t get.

2. The day after Christmas, I usually help Mom and Dad take down Christmas decorations and the Christmas tree. We believe that you can’t go into the next year with your Christmas tree up and you certainly don’t want the problems of 2018 to follow you. Start the next year on a clean slate.

3. ‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house I was making sure that there was room under the tree for ALL my gifts and big gifts I asked Santa Clause for. I don’t know why he wouldn’t bring them because he told me what lists I was on when I was checking with Santa Paws what lists my Queen Daisy Mae was on. As it so happened Santa Clause and Santa Paws said we were both on the nice and very nice lists so why wouldn’t he give me what I asked for?

4. All I want for Christmas is a printer for my computer(not very expensive) and a huge prayer to be answered that I’ve  been praying for a while now.

Blessing Train

WELCOME AND INTRODUCTION

Welcome Everyone to our site. We really appreciate those who have been reading and following us for a while now. We also want to welcome the new readers and followers and we appreciate you too. If it weren’t for you all we wouldn’t be where we are today. Now on to the book, when I read a book I usually can tell if I’m going to like the book or not and how I’m going to rate it half way through the first chapter. Sometimes it takes longer. For example, if I absolute don’t like it in the first chapter, I’ll give it  to chapter 3 or 4 usually and decide whether to go on reading the book or make it a DNF(Did Not Finish). Sometimes the book just doesn’t live up to hype even if it had a movie made out of it.

WHAT I EXPECTED 

I follow this authors blog so I had an idea what to expect. Since her blog is so great and writing style very good, I set the bar quite high for this book PRANCIE’S PRAYER. I guess knowing what I did I expected a very good book and at least a 5 star rating if not higher. Well guess what? I wasn’t disappointed. In fact, It was better than I expected. I must say that doesn’t happen often with books with me.

WHAT I LIKED

Well what can I say. I liked everything about this book. The way the book was layed out from beginning to end, How the story was told, Most of all I liked it because there was no bad language. 

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE

Noop. Can’t think of anything although maybe just a suggestion. This isn’t a complaint, I loved the book but thought it could have been longer. However, the way this story was told and layed out the length was perfect. I hope I get to read the print version some day.

RECOMMENDATION & RATING 

I recommend everyone buy, read and review this book. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. I know I wasn’t. This book is made so kids can read it too. I give the book PRANCIE’S PRAYER 12 STARS.  OK, I know you can go up to 5 stars but really this book deserves 12 stars it’s that good.

Please buy this book. WHY? Because from October to December all the royalties are going to a charity called Boston’s Forgotten Feline’s. It’s a win-win situation you buy the book the charity gets the royalties and you get a Fantastic book by a fantastic author.
