A Special Tribute To ABACUS JUNE

I wrote a beautiful poem to honor Abacus June. The poem is below. It was an honor and privilege to write this poem about Abacus June.

ABACUS JUNE
Abacus June, you were a beautiful and smart Grey Striped Tabby Cat that was adopted at 10 years of age from a shelter in June. You had stunning and striking green eyes that would warm the heart of any animal lover and those green eyes melted the hearts of many people.
Your favorite thing was to lie in your Tee Pee bed and you loved to play with stuffed mousies too. You also loved to play with your favorite house mate Molly Moo.
You spent many years with your furever family and enjoyed visiting your cousins BellaDharma and LadyMew. What fun you would have when you visited them. However, the day came when you earned your wings and crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. God wanted his Angel Kitty back with Him for company and comfort. Although there will be mourning, there will be happiness too because I Abacus June will return to visit you.
O sure it won’t be in the same form you’re used to but you might see me in the form of a beautiful Monarch Butterfly with beautiful wings. When you see a bunch of Butterflies, A Flock of Birds, Hummingbirds staying together as if to say I’m here for you and don’t be to upset or mad because it rains or snows. You see the rain or snow are your friends not to mention when it rains and snows that’s me Angel Abacus June sitting on your shoulder and saying, I’m here to make sure you and the family are OK.
Remember those memories you made with me? Well let me tell you something, they are very special so special in fact they’re golden. Cherish each memory and keep them very close to your heart. These special memories will help you always remember me and treasure me forever.
I want you to know and the rest of the family that I made it home and I have new friends to romp around and play with now. Don’t be sad for me because I’m healthy now and kicking. Always remember that when we meet again I’ll be the first face you see.
I want to leave you with one of my last memories and that’s my special Sunday Selfie photo.
Always remember I may be No longer by your but will always be forever in your heart.

Prancie
Prancie, you were a beautiful
Orange Cat with a touch of White.
You had beautiful eyes of gold. So
Precious Prancie you found a loving
Furrever home with other Cats.
You got along with the other Cats
Just fine. The family just adored
You and loved you. Prancie, you are
A special Cat in more ways than one.
You lived a full and active life. Yes
It was a sad when God called
You home and yes we were also
Devastated when we found out
You earned your wings to go over
The Rainbow Bridge but before you
Went over the Rainbow Bridge, we
Made many memories that we’ll
Cherish and treasure of you. We will
Always love you and miss you. We
Loved you so much that you left
Pawprints on our hearts. Prancie,
You have become an angel and
Aren’t miserable or suffering in
Pain anymore and are romping with
Other Cats and other pets now.
Prancie sweet kitty cat, you are now
An angel and will be sadly missed.
So when a Monarch Butterfly shows
Up with its beautiful wings know
That it’s your sweet Prancie coming
To check on you and your family.
When you see more than one

TIGGER
If you’re looking at the title Title Tigger and wondering who is that? Tigger was my last cat. None of you got to meet my Grey Striped Tabby cat Tigger because she died on 9-11-2015 and I didn’t start blogging until January 2017.
In a nutshell, my family and I rescued Tigger out of a very bad situation she was in all through her kittyhood. She didn’t like men for whatever reason. I’m happy to say she eventually made friends with Daisy Mae and in the end made friends with my Dad too.
I wanted to do a tribute to my last cat Tigger who was a Grey Striped Tabby Cat. Tigger died on September 11, 2015 and this year marks the fourth year death anniversary.
I miss Tigger daily as well as think of her daily. I look for a whole lot of Butterflies on 9-11 to celebrate her life.
I wanted to do do something special for Tigger so I wrote a poem for her.

TIGGER
TIGGER you were a beautiful
And smart Grey Striped Tabby
Cat that had a bad kittyhood
But despite that you survived
Because my family and I took
You in. You hid in my bedroom
Closet when we first got you
But as you adjusted you came
To love us just as we loved you.
Tigger, you had this cute little
Heart On your nose. OH how you
Liked To play with string with a
Feather on it and OH did you ever
Like laying on wrapping paper too.
I even remember how you liked to be
Under our feet all the time. I still
Laugh and chuckle when I think of
How You kicked at your litter all
Over the place when you were
Doing your kitty cat business.
Your eyes were dark with yellow
Around them. Even though it’s been
4 years since you earned your
Wings and crossed over the Rainbow
Bridge. When a Monarch Butterfly

MAXI: A Special Tribute

MAXI, you were looking for a furrever home… One that would love you forever no matter what.
Then one day a miracle happened. A wonderful, loving family who had just decided they wanted a pet and wanted it to be a small dog walked in just too look.
When you noticed they were looking your way, you tried to be as cute and beautiful as you could. You even showed off by showing this family how cute you really were.
You have brown eyes like that of a beautiful brown Butterfly. Your nose is pink with black speckles on it. You were a small white Bichon Frise dog who looked like a medium sized snowball.
Because this wonderful family decided to get a dog, you now have a wonderful and loving furrever home. Although you didn’t have a favorite football team when they got you, you somehow became an Eagles Fan.
You ended up being a Mama’s Boy and really enjoyed being with her, cuddling with her and laying in those sunpuddles. You also loved cuddling with your “sister” on a Penguin blanket, chasing the Squirrels and Chipmunks, Posing for pictures but most of all you really liked and enjoyed being with your family. You also hated going out into the snow where it was really cold.
Before earning your your wings to go over the Rainbow Bridge after almost 13 years you had so much fun with your furrever family you didn’t want to say goodbye so instead you decided to say farewell. Although your family will mourn your passing and grieve in their own way, they will always have the memories that they will cherish and they will never forget you.
Now that it’s Springtime Butterflies, Cocooned Caterpillars turning into beautiful Butterflies, Cardinals, Baby Cardinals, Squirrels, Baby Squirrels, Deer and Fawns are so cute and fun to watch. Don’t chase or hurt these animals for they are your friends. Well you see Angel MAXI sometimes visits in the form of these animals. Most of the time he will visit in the form of a Butterfly or Cardinal but When a baby animal is born, When you see a Butterfly, When you see a Cardinal or any type of other animal, always remember Angel MAXI is watching and taking care of you.

A goal for 2019 is get as much catnip as possible since Santa Paws didn’t bring the 2 tons of catnip I asked for Christmas. **Please Note** Santa Paws saw to it that some of my family members got me catnip for Christmas.

If I had to choose a guide word for 2019, it would be positivity. With positivity comes happiness. That’s why I chose this word.

New beginnings often come after multiple tries of getting a forever home for cats. I was lucky and fortunate with my forever home. Hope other cats and animals get a loving forever home like I did.
