Amorette Anderson is one of my new favorite authors. She writes books in the genres categorized in Cozy Mysteries, Romantic Comedy and Romantic Suspense by Bookbub and on Goodreads they have her genres listed as Mystery, Fiction and Romance. Pretty much the same on both sites. Her books are fun and easy to read. Amorette’s picture is above. She is on BookBub and her BookBub link is Amorette Anderson’s BookBub Profile Link in case you want to check her BookBub Profile and possibly even follow her. She is also on Goodreads and her Goodreads Link is Amorette Anderson’s Goodreads Profile Link in case you want to check her profile out and follow her. The Order of the books Are as follows with the Prequel first.
The Prequel, the CASE OF THE LOVE SPELL is an incredible, fun, mysterious fictional book that Penny has to try solve a murder. Will she be able to solve the murder? Then of course Penny is thinking about her crush. I just loved reading this book. Not only was it fun but there is clean romance, mysteries solve. This book is a “page turner”. For those of you who don’t know what I mean by a “page turner” it just means that the book is so good you don’t want to put the book down. The books could be read however you prefer but in my opinion, the books should be read in order starting with the Prequel. I hope you read it, I hope your kids and grandkids read it. I loved it and know you will too.
Book 1, the CASE OF THE POWER SPELL is a book full of clean romance, mysterious, fun and fiction. This book is also a “page turner”. I loved this book and know you will too. I really hope you, your kids and grandkids read this. I loved this book so much.
Book 2, the CASE OF THE BANISHING SPELL is a fun, romantic, mysterious, fictional book and the best part is that its clean. When I say clean I mean it. This book was a “page turner” and kept me wanting more. I hope you read it, your kids read it and your grandkids read it. I loved it and know you will too.
Book 3, the CASE OF THE DESIRE SPELL was so much fun to read. Maybe it’s because I really liked Penny and her cat Turkey. This book was not only fun but it was romantic in a clean way, mysterious, family oriented. I can’t tell you how much I loved this book. I really hope you read this book, your kids read it and grandkids read it.
Book 4, the CASE OF THE TRUST SPELL is a fun, romantic, mysterious , clean and is the last book until Book 5 comes. There will be a Book 5 but it’s coming soon and isn’t published yet. I just loved this book as much as I loved the other books and that’s a lot. I hope you read this, your kids read this and your grandkids read this. I loved it and just know you will too.
Book 5, the CASE OF THE VISION SPELL which is coming soon I might add and knowing how Amorette Anderson’s books were, I expect Book 5 will be just as good. Since it’s not out there is no cover picture.
I’m sure by now you’ve noticed I didn’t say much about these books. There’s a reason for that and that is some books don’t need much said about them because they’re that good. Well let me tell that’s exactly the way these books are. Also, In this case too much said might give too much away and I don’t want to do that. In summary let’s review Amorette Anderson’s books are a lot of fun, family oriented, clean, mysterious, romantic(in a clean sense), easy to read and the books are “page turners”.
RECOMMENDATION & RATINGS
My recommendation for all of Amorette Anderson’s books are that I suggest to all of you is that you need to read her books. I highly recommend them because you won’t be ashamed to read it nor will you be ashamed to have your kids and grandkids read it and before you know it you’ll be recommending to your friends and neighbors. Also, who knows you’ll have yourself another favorite author.
My rating for all of Amorette Anderson’s books are 5+ stars.
If for any reason you’re not sure about these books or any books for that matter, for your own peace of mind read the books first. Now if you look at the cover and judge it from that and say you don’t like the cover because there is a witch on the cover. That’s your opinion and your allowed your opinion. Also you don’t want your kid or grandkid(s) reading about sorcery or wizardry well let me assure you that Penny is a good witch and Penny is more into knitting than sorcery or Wizardry. But staying on this subject of wizardry or sorcery, brings me to ask you the parent or grandparent this question. The question I must ask has your kid(s) or grandkid(s) read the Harry Potter books? If so then let me kindly tell you something and that’s that Harry Potter books are more into wizardry and sorcery than these books are. If you have questions then be a parent or grandparent and please read the book first.

1/2 cup cacao powder (or unsweetened cocoa powder)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
to taste pinch sea salt (optional/plus more)
add cacao nibs (optional/for topping)
Arrange 14 (amount as original recipe is written//adjust if altering batch size)mini cupcake liners on a small baking sheet. Set aside.
Add 2 inches of water to a large saucepan and bring to a boil over medium high heat. Then set a glass or ceramic bowl on top, making sure it’s not touching the water (this creates a “double boiler”).
To the mixing bowl, add finely chopped cocoa butter and let melt-2-3 minutes.
Once melted, add the maple syrup or agave nectar and use a whisk or wooden spoon to mix until fluid and thoroughly combined. Remove bowl and set on a flat surface. Also, turn off stove – top heat and set saucepan aside.
Add cacao or cocoa powder, vanilla (optional), and sea salt (optional), and whisk to combine until there are no clumps.
Taste and adjust flavor as needed. (amounts as original recipe is written//adjust if altering batch size), but it’s completely up to how sweet you prefer your chocolate.
Carefully pour chocolate into 12 – 14 mini cupcake liners* (or 7 large cupcake liners//amount as original recipe is written//adjust if altering batch) and top with more sea salt or cacao nibs (optional).
Transfer chocolate to the freezer or refrigerator to set – about 10 minutes.
Enjoy straight from the freezer, refrigerator, or at room temperature. Store leftovers in a well – sealed container in the refrigerator for 1 week, or in the freezer up to 1 month.
*You can sub up to 2 Tbsp (amount as original recipe is written//adjust if altering batch size) of the cocoa butter with coconut oil in the recipe. However, cocoa butter is superior! Coconut oil tends to separate, get a little oily, and melts easily when touched.
*Between both raw cacao and cocoa powder the raw cacao tastes a bit more bitter, while the cocoa was a little less stark and had a more familiar taste on the palette. Cacao wins in health benefits, but cocoa powder wins in taste.
* To keep this chocolate raw, use cacao powder and (water bath).
*If you don’t have mini cupcake liners, lay parchment paper down on a baking sheet and spread the chocolate into an even layer. Once set, break into bark, or cut into bars.
*If you’re afraid to try cocoa butter, don’t be! It’s so versatile. Definitely worth it if you’re a chocolate fan!
4 Medjool dates, soaked in water for 1 hour and drained.
1 Tbsp. water.
1 tsp. maple syrup.
1 tsp. coconut oil, solid.
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract.
In a high-speed blender, whip up all the ingredients for the raw caramel sauce until completely smooth. Allow to chill in the refrigerator to cool down.
Line a baking sheet with a piece of parchment paper.
Melt 1/2 c. of the non-dairy chocolate chips. Place in a Ziploc bag with a slit cut out of the corner and drip 1 tsp. of chocolate onto the parchment paper, making circles. You may want to use the back of a spoon to flatten down a little bit.
For each chocolate circle, place 6 pecan slices on top of the chocolate in the position for the head, legs and tail. Fill in the remainder of the chocolate with smaller pecan pieces. Place the baking in the freezer for 5-10 minutes.
Remove the sheet and pour the raw caramel sauce into a Ziploc baggie to pipe on top, about 1 tsp. worth. Freeze again while you melt the remainder 1/2 c. of chocolate.
Pipe the remaining chocolate on top of the caramel. Smooth out with the back of a spoon to ensure it is evenly spread. PLEASE READ: Do this one at a time because the warm chocolate hitting the items that have been in the freezer will cause the chocolate to quickly harden. If you wait too long, your chocolate will be unworkable.
Allow the turtles to fully set (either back in the freezer or if you keep them on the counter, they will harden as well).
Warm a large heavy bottomed pan with a lid, over medium heat until hot. Pour in the popcorn kernels and put the lid on tightly. Move them around frequently by gently moving the pan. They will start popping after about 30 seconds.
Keep watching/listening until the popping stops then remove from the heat but keep the lid on in case a rogue kernel decides to surprise you!
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
Add the coconut sugar and water to a small saucepan and warm over a medium heat until the sugar has dissolved and it is just starting the bubble.
Remove from the heat and add the coconut oil, tahini and salt. Stir really well until it is smooth. It is normal to see some pale flecks throughout. If lumps persist or it doesn’t combine well put the pan over a low heat and continue stirring. It will come together.
Remove the lid from the popcorn kernels and pour over the caramel. Be careful as it will be very hot. Stir until evenly coated evenly.
Pour onto a baking tray lined with either Silpat or baking parchment and spread out into a single layer. Put in the oven and bake for around 15 minutes until crunchy and golden.
Melt the chocolate chips over simmering water, or gently in a microwave, then drizzle over the popcorn with a spoon.
Place the tray in the fridge to allow the chocolate to set. If you are in a hurry you can put it in the freezer for 10 minutes. Once the chocolate is set break into pieces and store in an airtight container where it will keep well for a few days.
Feel free to omit the chocolate if you prefer to just have caramel flavor.

Hi everyone, Daisy Mae here with another edition of my famous Cat Quotes. OK, so the quotes are from a mini calendar that Queen Mom Deputy Sister Crystals sister got her for her birthday/Christmas. Well I’m not going to keep you any longer from my famous cat quotes so without further adieu here they are.
Cats only assume their strangest, most intriguing, and most beautiful postures when it is impossible to photograph them.
Cats are cool. They have style, personality, sophistication, and just the right amount of confidence.
Since each of us is with only one life, why not live it with a cat?
Thousands of years ago, cats were worshipped as gods. Cats have never forgotten this.
I rarely meddled in the cat’s personal affairs, and she rarely meddled in mine. Neither of us was foolish enough to attribute human emotions to our pets.
The cat: an animal that’s so unpredictable, you can never tell in advance how it will ignore you the next time.
It always gives me a shiver when I see a cat seeing what I can’t see.
