Hi Everyone And Welcome, I Daisy Mae wanted to thank you all for helping me celebrate my birthday month. I even got a real nice card from LadyMew and BellaDharma. We really appreciated the card. We also appreciated you visiting.
Hi and Welcome Everyone, if you have owned a cat, dog or any type of pet for that matter then you probably know what I’m talking about. So what is a Daisy Mae scare you ask? Glad you asked. A Daisy Mae scare is basically a cat scare where you almost lose you cat or pet. Daisy Mae is my cat’s name and almost lost her twice this past week so this post was almost a different type of post. But the first time you think you are going to lose a pet you get so nervous you think you might pass out. However, you don’t.
You have to understand my family and I have had Daisy Mae from around 4 weeks old. My little Daisy Mae has turned into a 13 year old kitty cat. So that’s a Daisy Mae scare in a nutshell. So all you have to do is if you’ve had one of these scares you can call them (your pet’s name) scare. Most pet owners know what I’m talking about.
If you’re looking at the title Title Tigger and wondering who is that? Tigger was my last cat. None of you got to meet my Grey Striped Tabby cat Tigger because she died on 9-11-2015 and I didn’t start blogging until January 2017.
In a nutshell, my family and I rescued Tigger out of a very bad situation she was in all through her kittyhood. She didn’t like men for whatever reason. I’m happy to say she eventually made friends with Daisy Mae and in the end made friends with my Dad too.
I wanted to do a tribute to my last cat Tigger who was a Grey Striped Tabby Cat. Tigger died on September 11, 2015 and this year marks the fourth year death anniversary.
I miss Tigger daily as well as think of her daily. I look for a whole lot of Butterflies on 9-11 to celebrate her life.
I wanted to do do something special for Tigger so I wrote a poem for her.
Welcome my wonderful readers. You may call me crazy after what happened to me today. You see when I woke up this Morning, I had this strange feeling. It was very strong. My mind was racing which is something because I’m not a Morning person. Then after breakfast, I saw 2 humming birds just there on my deck. Then after I read on several blogs it was Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day 2019. I knew what that strong feeling was. I was remembering my cat Tigger.
None of you probably remember my Tabby Cat Tigger but may have read about her. You see, sadly Tigger earned her wings and went to Rainbow Bridge on 9-11-2015. A bitter sweet day. Bitter because my cat died and sweet because 9-11 would have been my Grandmother’s birthday if she hadn’t passed away a few years earlier. I miss my Grandmother and my rescue Tabby Cat Tigger. There are 2 pictures of my rescue Tabby Cat Tigger below. She’s now over the Rainbow Bridge and playing and teaching all the other animals that come after her.
We all go to funerals in our lives for our family and friends. We also hope and pray that our children don’t die before us but life doesn’t always happen that way.
I just recently went to a funeral since my Aunt died. This funeral was like no other. The funeral was held in the dark since there was no electric. Toward the end of the end of the funeral and before the luncheon the lights came back on. The food had to heated up elsewhere. When I asked my parents why there was no electricity? They said, the power company had scheduled a power outage during the time of the funeral. When you don’t know it’s scheduled, it is really strange and weird.
What’s the strangest funeral you’ve been to? What’s the strangest thing that has ever happened to you? Let me know.
I have a special Eileen’s Critters And Sunday Selfie this week. On June 10, 2019 we got a picture of the our first Fawn of the 2019 season. Sorry if the picture is dark but Mamma Deer isn’t brave enough yet apparently to bring her baby out in daylight. I had to share this with you.
After a drink I think Mamma Deer is going to show her baby the ropes on how to go about posing for Sunday Selfies. For the first time I think this little Fawn did pretty good. Honestly, I think the Fawn is more interested in getting a drink. Mamma Deer is multitasking. She’s eating and posing for her Sunday Selfie and for Eileen Critters.

1.) 2005-2006 was a very good year. This was the year I got my forever home. That’s right folks, I’m going to be the big 13 on Sept. 12.
2.) There is nothing quite like a forever and loving home.
3.) If I had a talk show, I would want to interview the Queen Mom Crystal’s favorite author Amorette Anderson and also want to interview Miss Ellen and her cats from 15 And Meowing.com. I guess I would ask her cats what’s it like to live with multiple cats and ask Miss Ellen how on earth does she manage all those cats?
4.) There is nothing I wouldn’t do for Fancy Feast. Chicken variety and it must be Classic Pate` since they discontinued my favorite, favorite kind.
So to ALL the Mother’s out there whether you have children or are the Mother of a furfriend. HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY TO YOU ALL!! I ALSO WANT TO WISH MY MOM A SPECIAL MOTHER’S DAY WISH.
QUEEN MOM CRYSTAL MY MOTHER’S DAY GIFT TO YOU IS TO LET YOU PICK ME UP AND LOVE ME ALL YOU WANT. HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY MOM!!!!
Trying to figure something for this weeks Sabi Saturday was challenging. Then it hit me, I could do a combined photo of antique and old things. What I mean by this is several old and antique things in one photo.
The end table, lamp and couch are very old. Me I’m “Middle Aged” but 29+. No I’m not telling you how old I am but will just say this, if you read my birthday post last year then you got a pretty good idea already how old I am. The only thing in the picture that’s not that old is Daisy Mae who is only a kitten in this photo but is 12 going on 13. 13 not the that old for a cat but in Cat years she’s old.
Today we are joining 15 And Meowing.com and Catblogosphere for Friendly Fill – Ins. There will be 2 sets of answers since both Daisy Mae And I will be answering the questions. Answers will be in italics.

While Queen Daisy Mae And I have been away from our blogs for a while since I got into what I call an accidental project(more about that later). Anyhow, I wanted to do something special for Valentine’s Day for everyone but didn’t know what to do. I talked to Queen Daisy Mae to see if she had any ideas. She did so she sent them to me while she was sleeping(not really). You see, she told me her ideas when I woke her from her nap to tell her she had just gotten fed and it was time for her to get up and go down and get something to eat. So without further adieu, here is our valentine’s card from us. HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!This post is also doubling for an early Caturday Art. Art was done on IPiccy .
