Thank You All for Your Kindness…

About the above graphic although my Daisy Mae is no longer with me I will probably always use some graphic with her name on it or her picture so I hope you don’t mind.

I would like to thank everyone for their kindness after the loss of Daisy Mae whether you sent me a card or an email or commented on my post with kind words I want you to all know I appreciated it.

Since I am still mourning the loss of my fur baby and still recuperating from some health issues I will be taking a break from posting and try to get to your blogs as soon as I can.

Thank You for your understanding.

Hi everyone and Happy Early Halloween. Daisy Mae And I hope you get lots of treats and toys. Daisy Mae is hoping for extra treats. Of course she will most likely get that and lots of scritches, cuddled and loving too. If I know Daisy Mae, she may go up to the master bedroom by the register on her Gobble, Gobble Turkey catnip pad she won from Ellen at 15AndMeowing. She loves that Gobble, Gobble catnip pad. Now onto Friendly Fill – Ins.

Daisy Mae’s Answers

1. I keep warm by sleeping by the register for most of the day but I do stay active some of the day.

2. I don’t need to be so demanding with Mom Crystal and her family but I want to be so demanding so I get my own way MOL, LOL.

3. I would want Here lies a smart, demanding and bossy Cat to be etched onto my tombstone.

4. If I heard something go bump in the night, I probably wouldn’t hear it unless it’s really loud because my hearing is going.

Crystal’s Answers

1. I keep eating a small meal for Dinner and a semi – big meal for Supper but don’t lose any weight.

2. I don’t need a Cat but I want a Cat hence the reason I got Daisy Mae 14+ years ago.

3. I would want a picture of a Grey Striped Tabby Cat and hear lies a feisty redhead that loves Cats and animals to be etched on my tombstone.

4. If I heard something go bump in the night, I probably wouldn’t think to much of it because I would think it’s Daisy Mae, something going on outside with the neighbors, some of the wildlife or something with house since the house is 105+ years old.

Clarity (A Print Book Review)

OUR CAMP NEAR THE WOODS IN 2017.

Welcome

Hi and welcome my wonderful readers. I’m so glad you’re here whether it be night or day where you’re at. I went out of comfort zone and read this book called Clarity by Ethan Stein.

About The Author

ETHAN STEIN WAS BORN IN BUFFALO, NY, where he developed a love for writing at an early age. While the beginnings were rather gory and incomplete, it was the start of something important. In college, Ethan developed a far greater love and understanding of writing. It was there that he also began to develop the world of Marahspand, which was the foundation of his Divine Potentials Series.  His wife and two kids have been very supportive in his quest to further flesh out his fantasy world and are eager to discover all he has to offer.

Author’s Book Excerpt

High Priestess Daena Vulatanne has spent more than a decade preparing to lead the Holy Order of the Water Goddess Anahita. The safety of the isolated community of women has always been paramount, but the arrival of a strange messenger forces her to question if their exposure is worth risking her role as the future leader.

Asha’s presence in the village threatens the secrecy the women have fought to maintain. While he carries a message for Daena’s people, he also holds the key to a rogue Order member’s lifelong ambition: revenge for the destruction of her brethren.

The purity and innocence Daena thought she knew soon gives way to evil and corruption. In a tumultuous time of deception, magic, and adventure, she must sacrifice something dear to her: her ideals, her devotion, or her life.

What I Thought About The Book & Rating Of Book

When I started out reading the book, I had no idea what to expect. However, I’m happy to say I found the book interesting, intriguing, suspenseful, a page turner and hated to put the book down. I wanted to see what happened next. I rate this book 4 1/2 stars.

My Book Recommendation & Caution

I do recommend the book. However I do caution Parents, Grandparents and Legal Guardians of children younger than 18+ to read the book first before letting your child/children read the book.

HAPPY READING EVERYONE!!!!

ABOUT (UPDATED)

“Hey…the bird feeder’s empty! What did you do, oversleep or something?”

Hello Everyone, my name is Crystal Stewart and I would like to welcome you to my site CRYSTAL AND DAISY MAE’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE . I also have two other blogging sites and they are: WELCOME TO CRYSTAL’S SITE(ORIGINALLY COUNTRY LIVING)TIGGER AND FRIENDS and TABBY CAT CLUB . My goal for this site is to meet new friends.

I’m also a country girl and just love it. I don’t live on a farm just way out in the country. By living out in the country, I have the opportunity to see all kinds of different animals. Some of the animals I’ve seen are: Bear, Squirrels, Raccoons, Wild Turkey, Fishers, Different kinds of Birds and many other animals too. I’ve seen some beautiful Sunrises and Sunsets too.

A PINK SUNRISE OR “LOVER’S SUNRISE”.

The rural town where I live is in Pennsylvania and is so small you are through it in a blink of an eye. It’s a fantastic experience living way out in the country because it’s so pretty and the animals you see are just incredible. Living out in the country is not just fun but it takes work too. I have lived way out in the country all my life.

I love Cats, Dogs and other animals too. I like listening to the Oldies, Country and Gospel Music. I also like read a lot and review paperback/print books and every now and then I cross-stitch too. I have an indoor Cat named Daisy Mae and she is a joy and a blessing. We have so much fun together.

I got my Cat Daisy Mae’s picture and story published in the Daily Kitten. I also have it published on my other site WELCOME TO CRYSTAL’S SITE(ORIGINALLY COUNTRY LIVING) . It is also on LinkedIn. Also, It’s been on Bloglovin’ and Tummy Rub Tuesday from Katzenworld. I hope you take the time to read it and like it enough to share it. I am blessed to have been asked to be a Guest Author(Contributor) for The Recipe Hunter.

Before I got Daisy Mae, I rescued a Grey Striped Tabby Cat from a very bad Kittyhood. I got her as a Senior Cat. Her name was Tigger and she passed away on 9-11-2015.

QUEEN DAISY MAE SHOWING OFF HER GREY AND WHITE BELLY.

My faith in the Lord has led me through the good times and the hard times. I have been blessed thankfully with more good times than hard times.

Every now and then, I’ll reblog an article but my site will be mostly pictures but not strictly pictures. I will also have other stuff on my site but you’ll never find a swear word or anything political.

So when will I post? Well with life situations, Covid19 Global pandemic, I’m finding I’m not able to post as often so I’ll just post when I can.

I do hope you all will take this blogging journey with me and Thank You to those who already have.

Thank You Very Much My Wonderful Readers.

BREAKING NEWS: Daisy Mae Turns 14!!

QUEEN DAISY MAE SHOWING OFF HER GREY AND WHITE BELLY.

Hi everyone, I’ve got some BREAKING NEWS. Daisy Mae just turned 14 on September 12. That was her 14TH Gotcha Day. She was born just a few weeks before that. Daisy Mae asked me if she could share that with you all and how do I say NO to an adorable, cutie pie like her. She’s celebrating all of September and says that the best Birthday gift you could give her is to read, like and comment and of course a lot of tasty treats. Daisy Mae wants something let’s see what it is she wants.

Daisy Mae: Mom Crystal, am I really 14?

Mom Crystal: Yes Daisy Mae you’re 14. Why do you ask my darling sweet Pea?

Daisy Mae: Well Mom Crystal, I feel more and more each day like “Sister” Tigger did and I seem to be getting slower.

Mom Crystal: Sniffle, Sniffle as Mom Crystal wipes her  eyes. Then says to Daisy Mae—join the club. We all get older and slower including myself.

Daisy Mae: I’m so sorry I mentioned “Sister” Tigger.

Mom Crystal: I’m not Daisy Mae.  You see your “Sister” Tigger was a very special Kitty Cat. Although she passed away 5 years ago on 9-11-2015, I miss Tigger every day. Why do you think I had that portrait done in honor of her.

Daisy Mae: Then I suppose it’s a good thing you had it done. Mom Crystal, when do I get my Birthday gifts?

Mom Crystal: Well Daisy Mae, you already got them. Remember the double dose of treats, the ice cubes, the brushing I gave you and the love you got and still get?

Daisy Mae: Yes, I remember all that. WOW!! what wonderful Birthday gifts.

Mom Crystal: Yes they are and guess what else  Daisy Mae?

Daisy Mae: WHAT? WHAT? WHAT? WHAT, WHAT?

Mom Crystal:  Well Daisy Mae… I think you’re a very special Kitty Cat just like your “Sister” Tigger was. You’re both very special and unique in your own ways.

Daisy Mae: Daisy Mae shakes her head a couple of times then says, AAAAWWWW… Mom Crystal your so sweet, special and unique in your own way too. It’s so hard to believe  after 14 years you steel that way about me. What happens when I become 15 years old?

Mom Crystal: Well of course I still feel that way about you. Let me tell you something Daisy Mae. When your Mama dropped you off at my family and I’s house and she told you to meow at the top of your lungs as loud as you could so we could here you. I remember that night so well. You see Daisy Mae, I was working Evening/Night shift that day. When my Mom and Dad picked me up that night, they told me about this kitten they heard. Finally we got home. They told me, go out of the garage and see if you can hear a kitten meowing and following the meowing. So that’s what I did. What I found at the end of all that meowing was the tiniest Kitten that could fit in the palm of your hand. Of course the first thing we did was fed you. Then we rescued/adopted you into our home and made our home your furever, loving home. The funny part is, your Mama came around our house for a few days until she was sure that her baby was in a loving, furever home.

As for what happens when you become 15 well… we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it. Daisy Mae, just enjoy 14 for now.

Daisy Mae: OK Mom Crystal, I’ll enjoy  year 14. Mom Crystal, I LOVE YOU!!

Mom Crystal: I LOVE YOU TOO DAISY MAE!!

Daisy Mae: Hey readers, Thanks for stopping by and celebrating my Birthday and Birthday month with me. i no we really appreciate it. We’re so glad you stopped by.

Daisy Mae And Mom Crystal: We love when our wonderful readers stop by and read our posts and we want to remind you all that when looking for a pet, DON’T SHOP, GO TO YOUR NEAREST SHELTER AND RESCUE ADOPT A PET!! WHEN YOU DO, YOU DO US AND YOURSELF A HUGE FAVOR.

A Tribute To Tigger

Hi everyone, I write this post with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes. You’re probably wondering why? My last Cat who was a rescue and a Grey striped Tabby Cat and Daisy Mae’s “Sister” not from the same litter left us 5 years ago on Sept. 11, 2015. I miss her daily. I thought to myself what would be an appropriate tribute to celebrate Tigger’s life then it was like a light bulb going off. I decided since it would be 5 years this year, I would ask someone who I knew who did drawings if they did commissioned drawings meaning do you do drawings for occasions if people ask? To my delight the answer was yes. So because I had never got a picture of both my cats together I asked if she could do the drawings from both pictures she said she could. I was delighted. The woman and artist who was so kind to do my drawing was Carolina Russo. She has a blog and yes she even has her own store on Etsy. In fact, she’s having a Labor Day sale at her Etsy store now.  Her website address is at the following link: Yesterday After and her website where she sells her jewelry and art is at the following link: Etsy Shop  . I do hope you go, check it out and possibly buy something. I have 2 of her drawings and I love them.

The Picture below is a Tribute to my Rescue Cat who was a Grey Striped Tabby Cat who I named Tigger. Who’s Tigger? My last Cat who passed away on 9-11-2015. My family and I and Daisy Mae loved her very much. The picture is of the drawing I had drawn as a tribute to celebrate and honor Tigger. It’s 5 years this year and I still miss her. I took the picture on the dark brown recliner. As you can see, The dark brown from the recliner chair makes the picture look good. The Picture is Below. Daisy Mae is the Cat lying down on the bed and Tigger is the Cat on the bed  looking at the camera.
