We all go to funerals in our lives for our family and friends. We also hope and pray that our children don’t die before us but life doesn’t always happen that way.
I just recently went to a funeral since my Aunt died. This funeral was like no other. The funeral was held in the dark since there was no electric. Toward the end of the end of the funeral and before the luncheon the lights came back on. The food had to heated up elsewhere. When I asked my parents why there was no electricity? They said, the power company had scheduled a power outage during the time of the funeral. When you don’t know it’s scheduled, it is really strange and weird.
What’s the strangest funeral you’ve been to? What’s the strangest thing that has ever happened to you? Let me know.

Daisy Mae And I are thankful we live in a free land and free to choose to make up our own mind and not have a Dictator telling us what we can and can’t do. We’re very grateful to the veterans, active military and especially grateful to those who paid the ultimate price.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!

For Sabi Saturday I have decided to multiple old things since I got somehow so many old things in this picture. However, the main old thing I wanted to do was one of my cats and her name was Snowball. She’s an Angel now. In the picture like I said there are are many old things. In the picture below you’ll see on my bed Angel Snowball. You’ll also see some other old things as well. You’ll see a stuffed cat which I appropriately named “SnowPuff” on the bed with Snowball also on the bed that’s old is a bedspread Pillow and stuffed teddy bear which I named “Teddy”. Also you’ll see some other old things like my cat box, pink curtains, the white shelves, yellow doll on the shelf, Santa container, books and picture album. Picture below.

Don’t think for an instant the University paid for this trip or any other trips the students had to take. OH no, the students paid for this trip and it wasn’t even part of their tuition. They had to pay for it separately. These are just some of the pictures we got. In the one picture the young woman is my niece.
The picture of the Eagle below is very old. This ought to tell you how old it is because I was still a kid when they got it. They always wanted a wood carving like when they found this Eagle they got it. We still have it. I just love it.
My one niece who is going for her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy at Slippery Rock University here in Pennsylvania. She’s been studying and doing what the university calls Clinicals. What are Clinicals? It’s similar to an internship. It’s hands on learning and a way to get better. The students have to do so many weeks out of state in Clinicals and so many weeks in state. One of the places out of state she chose was a place in Nashville. The places in the state of Pennsylvania she chose was close to her home luckily. She chose a place in Cranberry, PA and also at the VA in Butler, PA. She gets her Doctor coat this year and will graduate in May of 2020. I may be partial but I am a very proud Aunt.
While down in Nashville she sent us a bunch of pictures. So I thought I’d share some with you. ENJOY. She liked Nashville so much she wouldn’t mind going back.
Now I don’t know about anyone else but in my opinion bacon in almost any recipe is great and you can’t go wrong. Today’s recipe comes from a wonderful site called Two Spoiled Cats . This site I just love.
Ten Eggs (important ingredient in an omelette!)
1/3 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 dashes hot pepper sauce, or to taste
1/2 pound bacon – cooked, and chopped into bite – size pieces
1 (4 i) can black olives, drained
2 roma (plum) tomatoes, chopped
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
1/3 cup mushrooms, sliced
3/4 cup Colby – Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Coat an 8 inch square baking dish with non – stick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, combine eggs and milk. With an electric mixer, beat until frothy. Blend in salt and hot pepper sauce. Stir in bacon, olives, tomatoes, green onions, mushrooms and cheese. Pour into prepared pan, and cover with lid or aluminum foil.
Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 50 minutes, or until eggs are set in the center.
If there is an ingredient you either don’t like or want in your River Omelette DON’T PUT IT IN!! It’s that easy. As for the cheese if you prefer American, Provolone, Swiss or some other cheese instead of Colby – Monterey Jack cheese please feel free to use it. As we all know THAT the bacon is the most important ingredient then the eggs. Now maybe you’ll try it for Breakfast, another meal or even serve your mother Breakfast in bed.
The picture below is of an actual Bear my uncle shot many, many years ago. This is the Bear head. It was passed down to my Dad after my uncle died. He was into hunting. There is nothing fake about this Bear. I can’t tell you how old this bear is because I don’t know. But trust me, he’s old. Also, you see below the Bear head is part of an old clock. Like the Bear Head I have no idea how old the clock is either.
I will be doing Questions 1 and 2 and Daisy Mae will be doing questions 3 and 4. My answers will be in the color Purple, in Bold Print and in Italics and Daisy Mae’s answers will be in the color Navy Blue, Bold print and in Italics. All questions are in the color Black.
