MY SPARK for today is Psalm 23 from the Bible. Sadly we have lost to many pets and furfriends. This is to honor their memory and also to help those who are grieving for whatever reason. If your somebody who’s grieving I’m really sorry for your loss. Psalm 23 is for those not only grieving but for those who feel lost and want to be found.

AWWW…MONDAYS & Sparks
The Awww…Monday I chose today could be a Spark too so I’m doing my Awww…Monday & Sparks together.
AWWW…MONDAY & SPARKS
Welcome to another positive week with Awww…Monday & Sparks. This week I put my Awww… Monday & Sparks image together.
https://mcguffysreader.com/ has a project called Sparks post each week. I decided to join this project with McGuffy’s Reader to encourage others each week. My encouragement post is called ENCOURAGEMENT. On March 4, 2018, I was reading my morning devotions with the Lord and guess what? The devotional reading was called Dying for Encouragement. In a nutshell, it was about a corporate accountant who committed suicide and no-one knew why. He didn’t embezzle money and that made his co-workers wonder why until a note was found and that note simply said this: In thirty years I have never had one word of encouragement. I’m fed up. My ENCOURAGEMENT quotes and reading are: It may seem insignificant to say a word or two; but when we give encouragement, what wonders it can do! —K. DeHaan— My second ENCOURAGEMENT quote is: A word of encouragement can make the difference between giving up or going on. —Author Unknown— The reading for encouragement is Deuteronomy 3:23 – 29. So when you think your encouragement isn’t doing any good, think again. It is. When you encourage some someone make sure it is genuine encouragement(not flattery) and it will help others.
Why I’m Writing This Post:
I’m writing this post because I came across this good blog post that spreads Positive Thinking and I liked the idea so I’d thought I write this post.
Today we need all the positive thinking we can muster. But we shouldn’t just think about doing positive thinking but we should take every opportunity to show positive thinking and even create positive thinking where there isn’t any.
CREATING POSITIVE THINKING:
Creating positive thinking also helps with your attitude. If you don’t have a good attitude then you’re less likely to have a positive outlook but remember this it takes more wrinkles to create a frown then to create a smile. So smile because who wants all those wrinkles.
I wrote a post called WHAT MEETING MAYA ANGELOU DID FOR ME because Maya Angelou was a wonderful woman and very encouraging to. Below are some quotes of hers and another encouraging person who is P.K. Hallinan. The one quote is by an unknown source.
Make sure you have a smile on your face because people will wonder what you’re up to and your attitude will be a lot better.
Stay positive my friends.
Hi everyone it’s Daisy Mae again. I had to go to the vet this week so I’m a little late with my cat quote. I don’t travel good in the vehicle and let my owners know it. I even scratched my owner when she was trying to calm me down. I know I probably should not have scratched my owner because after all, all she was doing was trying to calm me down. She forgave me. Just to let you know I’m feeling better since the vet gave me a steroid shot and an antibiotic shot.
I’m killing two birds with one stone so to speak. I’m bringing you a cat quote that is also an English superstition. How cool is that? What’s that you say? You can’t wait to see the Cat Quote And English superstition all rolled into one. Well in that case and without further adieu below is the Cat quote/English superstition. Enjoy it and have a great weekend.
A cat sleeping with all four paws tucked under means cold weather ahead.
Hello everyone Daisy Mae Here, I did some snooping around on Mom’s desk in her bedroom and found another cat quote I thought you’d like. Mom’s busy working on a Guest post for the The Recipe Hunter . It’s a great site so I suggest you check it out.
I said I found another cat quote. The quote is cute and funny just like me. HA-HA. >”<🙂 So without further adieu, here is the cat quote. ENJOY IT.
I used to love dogs until I discovered cats.
An old cat will not learn how to dance.
Today is Day 4 of 5 of my Commenting Basics Course. Today my assignment was to respectfully disagree with a post. I chose a post I agreed and disagreed with so it wasn’t as bad as it could’ve been. The post I chose was DANCE YOUR WAY THROUGH FALL – PLUS SIZE PARTY CHOICES . You can visit Miss Talkaholic’s site by Clicking Here .
Some things I have learned about Commenting Etiquette is:
- Read thoroughly.
Before commenting, make sure you’ve read the entire post and the other comments before yours. Your comment should never make the writer or the other readers) wonder if you actually read the material. When you’re sharing a personal story, you want to make sure yours is relevant—-otherwise, it can look like like you’re trying to grab attention away from the blogger. (Also, someone might have left a similar story – in which case you can reply to that person’s comment!)
- Contribute something of value.
Every post can be the start of a conversation. Try to add something substantial to move that conversation forward. Don’t get me wrong- most bloggers appreciate every comment, even if it’s just a simple ‘enjoyed this post.’ But a meatier response is more likely to result in visits to your own site. Explain why you’re moved to share your story, and how your experience connects to the original post.
- Mind your manners.
If you wouldn’t say it to someone’s face, don’t say it in their comment thread. Criticism is fine, but there’s no need to be hateful. And remember, only a blog author can delete a comment, so if you comment in haste you might repent at leisure. Share your own experience, but don’t disparage another’s.
- Be yourself.
I’ve discovered many favorite blogs by becoming a fan of a certain commenter. Rather than any one comment, it’s the style and personality of a commenter that really makes me want to read more of their work. Whether you are smart, Witty, or just plain bizarre – be you! No matter your perspective, a unique voice will get attention.
- Keep your comment comment-sized.
If you have a lot to say on a certain subject, leave two or three representative sentences in the comment section, then link to a post on your own blog where you have expanded on the topic. This is a clever way to engage readers who share your interests.
Sharing a link can be a nice way to flesh out a comment — but a caveat! There’s one surefire way to get your comment ignored or worse, deleted, and that’s leaving a shameless plug. If you’re going to take the time to visit others’ blogs and then press the “comment” button, avoid this basic mistake.
A shameless plug is a comment that exists simply to provide a link back to your own blog. It says little — or nothing — other than your URL. Things like:
Really informative, I look forward to reading more.
What a good post! If you want, come visit my new blog:
There is a lot more content on commenting so I will give you the links. The links are:
Both of these posts are by Elizabeth.
I learned a lot. All bloggers should read these posts.
Please Share your comments with me. I want to hear what you think of both these posts + my post.
