MY NEWEST ADDITION TO MY NUTCRACKER FAMILY!!No No I didn’t go and get pregnant but I did at this cute Nutcracker to my Nutcracker Family. You see I collect Nutcrackers and this is my first drawing/painting of a Nutcracker. The above drawing/painting is by Carolina Russo an excellent artist and she even has her own blog and Etsy store. Another drawing Carolina Russo did for me is from to separate picture of my Cats Tigger & Daisy Mae. She took both pictures and then drew both Cats on an 8 x10 picture. She did an excellent job on this drawing as well. I was introduced to Carolina Russo through a contest actually and I was the lucky winner of that Drawing and it was beautiful. From there I liked her drawings and paintings so much I have bought several more for myself not just the two shown above and I have bought some as gifts too. This woman definitely has a gift and I should mention she does custom drawings where you ask her to draw something for you.

First let me say Happy Valentine’s Day to those who celebrate this special day.
Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day and if you do what are your plans? To answer your question Do I celebrate Valentine’s Day? I used to until high school then things took a turn for the worse. So what happened? The boy that led me to believe he had feelings for me & convinced me to fall in Love with him scorned me then once in college things got worse. Some of my so called friends pushed me into a blind date then went on the date with us. Not my idea of a date. Then the same guy I went out with on the blind date well… that was on Valentine’s Day then my so called friends started taking bets on whether or not we’d date a year. The result: A year later that guy dumped me on Valentine’s Day then Valentine’s Day is really just another day to a single person if they don’t have a spouse or significant other and that is what February 14 is to me just another day. My Valentine I guess will have to be my Cat Daisy Mae.
Hi everyone, Daisy Mae here. If you don’t know who I am (shame on you). No really, if you don’t know who I am let me introduce myself. I’m Crystal’s pet Cat and the other half of CRYSTAL AND DAISY MAE’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE. I help out when something happens that Crystal can’t post.
The reason why she isn’t hear is because well she’s had a rough few months. As the title states, Life hit her and her family hard then through her some curve balls to top it all off. I guess it all started way back in April a few days before April 22, 2021. The Dad had started hurting some and then Mom started getting body aches too. Neither one thought anything about it because Dad was out mowing and Crystal picking up sticks so they blamed it all on either a Sinus Cold, Allergies, pollen and bending to much and using muscles she hasn’t used in a year’s time in Crystal’s case (don’t ask). After almost a weeks time and the pain hadn’t left yet it was then Crystal started suspecting something was off and wrong. 2 days later, Crystal’s youngest sister popped in to check in on everyone and when she heard Dad’s symptom’s she said we’re going to get you tested for COVID and that’s when Crystal spoke up and said, I want tested too. So on April 22, 2021 the day the Dad and Crystal were to get their first vaccine shot well that didn’t happen instead they went to this place called Faster Care. After hearing their symptoms they tested them both and the Dad’s Rapid COVID test was negative but Crystal’s COVID test was positive. The strange part is The Dad’s COVID test that was sent out came back positive and Crystal’s came back positive. That evening The Dad was sent to the ER due to Covid then the Hospital people sent Dad home then the following Monday he went to hospital by ambulance then came home a few days later then on Memorial Day Dad went back to the hospital by ambulance once again. Mom Crystal has gone from being a part time caregiver to a full time caregiver who cooks(well bakes mostly), cleans and cares for her Mother who hasn’t been out of the house for quite some time because her Dermatomyositus and Lupus has made her immobile.
I suppose some bright spots in all this is that Crystal’s Dad is progressing very slowly each and that she has won one big contest and some small ones too. The big contest she won the prizes were a Kindle Fire With Aleza, $150 Amazon Gift Card and a few EBooks.
We want to give a huge thanks to Ellen and “Nurse” Joanie for the Card. The picture of “Nurse” Joanie made my Human Mom smile and she loved it. It lifted her spirits greatly(which she needed might I add). Thanks to all our readers.
Crystal hopes to be back soon but is not sure when but I will pop in to post every now and then.

Hi Everyone, hope all is going well with you. Me not to bad not that I can complain nor would it help to complain. Today I would like to update you on how my book is coming along.
As most of you know, I write poems, short stories and yes even books for fun. Lately, I’ve been working on Book 5 of The Royal Murder Mysteries. Writing a book is harder work than you think. There are many steps that go into the writing process? So what are some of those steps. Some of those steps are:
1. Never assume anything.
2. Always and I mean Always make a draft so you know which way your story plot(s) are going.
3. Take notes.
4. Make story bubbles and/or boards.
5. If you plan on writing your book/poem/short story from your ideas in your head, be sure to make brief notes so you don’t forget.
6. Make short goals for yourself. For example, finishing a chapter is something to be thrilled about and finishing the whole is really something to be thrilled about.
7. Once draft is finished, be sure to edit the draft for spelling mistakes, grammar mistakes, formatting mistakes.
8. If you’re lucky enough to be able to submit your draft don’t be to upset if you’re rejected. Take the criticism and make it helpful and useful as to when you submit your draft the second time around and hope for the best.
9. Make a deadline for yourself even if you have no time limit. Trust me, you might just surprise yourself how soon you get your book draft.
10. Finally, never quit. It’s the worst thing you can do.
Now for my book update. Book 5 of The Royal Murder Mysteries is coming along slowly but that’s OK because I’m happy and thrilled to say, I just accomplished another goal. What was that goal you ask? That goal was that I just finished Chapter 4 at 8,218 words. Am I thrilled and happy at what I accomplished so far? You bet. My goal is to have my draft of book 5 finished by December 31, 2020. If I don’t make my goal fine and if I do well great even better. So when do you become an author? Is when you get published? On the contrary. You become an author when you complete your first book/article draft.

ABACUS JUNE
Abacus June, you were a beautiful and smart Grey Striped Tabby Cat that was adopted at 10 years of age from a shelter in June. You had stunning and striking green eyes that would warm the heart of any animal lover and those green eyes melted the hearts of many people.
Your favorite thing was to lie in your Tee Pee bed and you loved to play with stuffed mousies too. You also loved to play with your favorite house mate Molly Moo.
You spent many years with your furever family and enjoyed visiting your cousins BellaDharma and LadyMew. What fun you would have when you visited them. However, the day came when you earned your wings and crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. God wanted his Angel Kitty back with Him for company and comfort. Although there will be mourning, there will be happiness too because I Abacus June will return to visit you.
O sure it won’t be in the same form you’re used to but you might see me in the form of a beautiful Monarch Butterfly with beautiful wings. When you see a bunch of Butterflies, A Flock of Birds, Hummingbirds staying together as if to say I’m here for you and don’t be to upset or mad because it rains or snows. You see the rain or snow are your friends not to mention when it rains and snows that’s me Angel Abacus June sitting on your shoulder and saying, I’m here to make sure you and the family are OK.
Remember those memories you made with me? Well let me tell you something, they are very special so special in fact they’re golden. Cherish each memory and keep them very close to your heart. These special memories will help you always remember me and treasure me forever.
I want you to know and the rest of the family that I made it home and I have new friends to romp around and play with now. Don’t be sad for me because I’m healthy now and kicking. Always remember that when we meet again I’ll be the first face you see.
I want to leave you with one of my last memories and that’s my special Sunday Selfie photo.

Hi everyone, this past week has well been hectic. But Daisy Mae and I had some visitors from the Rainbow Bridge. 3 of them to be exact—2 Cats and a Dog. You see the cats that visited was my Angel Tigger — My last Cat and her new friend Angel Abacus June cousin of BellaDharma & LadyMeow’ss Purrfect Pad(more about that in a separate post). Also, my Sister’s Dog Angel Maxi. They all wanted to help with Friday Fill – Ins this week so instead of every answering questions separately, we decided to put all the animals together and I’ll answer my group of questions. Hi Everyone, I’m so happy and excited to tell you that Book 4 of The Royal Murder Mysteries is complete and Book 5 of The Royal Murder Mysteries is started. Last year when I made my New Year’s Goals not Resolutions I said I wanted to to finish Book of The Royal Murder Mysteries by the end of December 2020 and possibly have an Epilogue at least started. I chose to put an Epilogue at the end of Book 4 and because the book was getting well way to wordy in length, so I decided to stop at 42,238 words.
When I started Book 5 of The Royal Murder Mysteries, well it was a surprise mostly because I had planned to stop when Book 4 was completed and that would complete My first Box Set. Instead and due to length of Book 4, I decided to write a 5th book. How long will it be? That I’m not sure yet but what I can tell you is that I have a lot ideas to put in Book 5. Some of you might be asking yourselves, what are these ideas? How will the book end? The ending will be a surprise as will the other ideas at least for now. I hope you understand why I want to do things like this.
So how far have I got on Book 5? I’ve managed to get to a word count of 3,119 or 1 1/2 chapters. Book 5 is and will be the last book in my 1st Box Set I ever written. The fact that writing Book 1-5 came about as a fluke through trying to write a poem for a friend as a surprise which never came about I might add. Writing these books surprisingly have given me a new perspective, been fun and yes even relaxing. I guess you could say writing for fun at least for me has been very enjoying. I LOVE IT!! I’M STILL DREAMING OF BEING PUBLISHED SOMEDAY IF NOT WITH BOOK 1-5 MAYBE SOMETHING ELSE. WHO KNOWS??🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷

1.) I would love to be a fly on the wall in these animal organizations to see if the money goes to help the animals or fatten the administrator’s wallet.
2.) I am missing my “sister” Tigger a lot.
3.) I could use more treats and peace in my life.
4.) I could do without being told NO by my furever family and these forgive my language but stupid people who are cruel to animals.

1.) I would love to be a fly on the wall in my former store manager’s office to find out the real reason why the store closed and the real reason why I was “downsized” the first time.
2.) I am missing my baby Tigger and think of her daily.
3.) I could use more Peace and joy in my life.
4.) I could do without all these people who try to scam you and also do without people who are cruel to animals.

Hi everyone, it’s me Queen Daisy Mae. I get to the post today although Mom Crystal is helping me and putting her 2 cents in. I’m thrilled I finally get to do another post. Mom Crystal is under the weather with her Sinus cold and allergies. They really bother her and that makes her sneeze a lot and I mean a lot.
What are we thankful for? OH there is so much we are thankful for. I’m thankful for my brand new Flea And Tick Collar that protects me, I’m thankful for my furrever family, I’m thankful for my My Mommies and Daddy. Mom says to tell you she’s thankful for ME, Her Family, All the front line workers, All the veterans and Active military workers, Friends, and all the Mothers.
Mom Crystal’s niece who works at a hospital in Olean, New York is getting an antibody test done today to find out if she ever had the bad Corona Virus.
