MY SPARK for today is Psalm 23 from the Bible. Sadly we have lost to many pets and furfriends. This is to honor their memory and also to help those who are grieving for whatever reason. If your somebody who’s grieving I’m really sorry for your loss. Psalm 23 is for those not only grieving but for those who feel lost and want to be found.

While we celebrate Christmas and New Year this holiday season by stuffing ourselves with food and maybe even wasting some of that food you can’t eat, before taking too much food think of all the people in the world that goes hungry because they don’t have food to eat and they might be even homeless.
When I looked at the charts I was in absolute awe. So many people in poverty and going hungry. Below are some things we all can do to help.
Maybe if everyone would adopt just 1 person and send some food, a nice warm blanket to somebody who needs it you can help one person at a time. If you can get someone into a shelter for a while even better. I know there are organizations who send care packages, there are some where you adopt a platoon and of course there is Marine Toys For Tots. So once the Christmas gifts are unwrapped and the celebrating is done take some time out of your day to help the people who really need it.
I’m not say quit baking but if you do bake during the Christmas and New Years Season when you bake something for your double the batch and make a batch for someone who really needs help. If you can’t cook well that’s OK because you can help out by sending care packages, helping serve food to the hungry, help out at a food pantry and etc… There are so many ways you can help.
My post has been all about people so far but we must not forget about the animals who need a forever home, need food and water, need saving from being killed. So if you are getting a gift for yourself this Christmas and New Years Season there is so much you need to know and do before getting that pet. What should you know? A few things you should consider before getting a pet is:
If you have kids do research on what breed is best for kids.
Consider unexpected vet bills.
Make sure you get pet insurance(it’s worth it).
Make sure you get your pet microchipped.
Make sure you start looking for a pet to rescue or adopt at a reputable shelter.
If you get a kitten, make sure they’re not flea dipped to early(always let a vet flea dip your kitten instead of a person at the shelter).
There are so many more points to research and do when you decide to get that pet it will just boggle your mind.

HALLOWEEN TIME is a time of fun. Daisy Mae and I thought since we were not going to around for Caturday Art around HALLOWEEN TIME, we would share with you our Halloween artistry. We had lots of fun making these for you(actually I made them but Daisy Mae helped in her own way). Below is our Halloween artistry.
The above picture was made onGIF MAKER – CREATE . That’s where I got all the HALLOWEEN stickers to put on the picture.
The above HALLOWEEN picture was finished on Bloggif – Home . However, sadly when the gif was finished and created, it took the best part out — The blinking eyes, Moving flying cat on broom, Blinking pumpkin, Blinking eyes on cat in pumpkin and Blinking and moving words.
The above picture is the picture I used to start out with before I started creating. I didn’t edit this picture.

Sometimes Sparks comes easy for me and sometimes not. Ever had that happened. On the Morning of October 6, 2018, I was reading my devotions with the Lord and came across something interesting I felt I should share with you. First let me tell you what it was about. My devotion from Our Daily Bread was called God Was at Columbine. It was about the killings at Columbine School. I know you’re probably wondering how is killing positive and encouraging. Below is what I found out and it’s positive and encouraging.
This item appeared in a newspaper after the 1999 fatal shooting at Columbine High School in Colorado:
Dear God: Why didn’t you save the children of the Littleton school?
Sincerely, a student
Dear Student : I am not allowed in schools. Sincerely, God
Interesting thought isn’t it? Even though God may not be allowed in schools He’s always there no matter what and thankfully He is.
POSITIVE THOUGHT #1
When tragedy, heartache, and sorrow abound,
When evil appears to have conquered the right,
We center our heart on our Father’s great love,
For He will bring hope in the darkest of night. —DJD
POSITIVE THOUGHT #2
God may be doing His greatest work
when evil seems to triumph.

Death is a part of life. We all have experienced death whether it is a loved one or furfriend(pet). We cry and shouldn’t be ashamed. Crying is a positive way to deal with death. Remembering and cherishing those memories made is another way to stay positive through death. Everyone deals with death differently so never put someone down with how they are dealing with death but encourage them and give them good, positive vibes.

While I was thinking about what to do for Sparks I had a thought and that thought was why don’t you do something with the meaning of encouragement. Of course I tried and tried to come up with something else but all I could think of was wanting Spring to get here and the sunshine and the pretty flowers to stay for a while. Then I said to myself, flowers that’s it I’ll do it on flowers. So I looked up on the internet to see what flowers are associated with encouragement and friendship and this is what I found. I’m writing this post because I came across this good blog post that spreads Positive Thinking and I liked the idea so I’d thought I write this post.
Today we need all the positive thinking we can muster. But we shouldn’t just think about doing positive thinking but we should take every opportunity to show positive thinking and even create positive thinking where there isn’t any.
CREATING POSITIVE THINKING:
Creating positive thinking also helps with your attitude. If you don’t have a good attitude then you’re less likely to have a positive outlook but remember this it takes more wrinkles to create a frown then to create a smile. So smile because who wants all those wrinkles.
I wrote a post called WHAT MEETING MAYA ANGELOU DID FOR ME because Maya Angelou was a wonderful woman and very encouraging to. Below are some quotes of hers and another encouraging person who is P.K. Hallinan. The one quote is by an unknown source.
