When I read the book Gingham Bride by Jillian Hart it wasn’t what I expected it to be. This book is a Victorian Romance but also touches on arranged marriages, abuse by the father and other areas. I liked how the young girl who is independent and gets herself a job and puts her talents to use and gets paid for it. I wrote a book review on this book I read twice and to read it you can do so by going to Gingham Bride.
In this book there are many villains you love to hate but the one I find is a lovable villain is toward the end of the book a gentleman Named Ian Mcpherson comes to visit Fiona O’Rourke and hopefully marry her. It’s then he finds out about her father and how cruel he is but because Ian spends so much time with her Dad she thinks Ian agrees with her Dad. This is where Ian is the Villain but I love this guy who seems to be a villain because toward the end she finds out Ian is giving her a choice to marry him or not no strings attached. She’s surprised at this because he’s supposed to be a villain.

I love Ian because he’s not in it for just the money or just to marry Fiona. He wants Fiona to make her own decisions and not be a slave to him. They do fall in love but I’m stopping there because you really need to read book to see how it ends.
I also hope you read my book review on it too. Please do comment and give your opinion once you read it.
