INTRODUCTION:

Hello Everyone, can you believe 2017 is gone and 2018 is here already? I can’t. This is my first post of the year for this site.

Did any of you make New Year’s resolutions? Sister Crystal doesn’t believe in making resolutions and honestly I don’t either. This way nobody can blame you for breaking your New Year’s resolutions.

Sister Crystal started  the new year off right by getting nominated for two awards by MABEAUTILITY . The awards Sister Crystal received were the The Don’t Hate, Appreciate Award: G❤❤d Vibes Only – My First Post Of 2018 and WINNING THE LIEBSTER AWARD – MY SECOND AWARD OF 2018.  I think it’s just great that she won these awards and I want to thank her for giving me equal billing for this site and she allows me to post on the other site too.

1. What is your favorite pet and/or animal? Cats
2. What is your job and why do you like it or dislike it so much? I’m unemployed-enough said.
3. What is your favorite sport and why? Don’t have a favorite sport anymore. Why? Since the kneeling during the National Anthem deal I have become less interested.
4. Did you make any New Year’s resolutions? If so what were they? Don’t believe in making New Year’s resolutions. I take each day one day at a time plus nobody can say I broke my New Year’s resolutions.
5. What did you like most about 2017? Christmas, my birthday and Thanksgiving.
6. What did you like least about 2017? Mom being in the hospital.
7. What is your hobby besides blogging? I used to cross-stitch. 
8. What did you like most about Christmas and New Year’s? The fact our family got together and we had kids laughing and giggling in the house. Take note that the kids I mention are ages 21 down to 15.
9. What is your blog about? My blog is about photos, blogging, country living, animals and much, much more. Every-Now-And-Then my cat will do some posting too.
10. What would you like to share about yourself to introduce yourself to the readers? My name is Crystal Stewart and my cat’s name is Daisy Mae. I just had my 50th birthday in December and I enjoy being 50. I enjoy blogging and meeting new people/animals. I like to read too mostly mystery/suspense books but I’m open to all genres.
11. How did you create the name of your blog? I thought about it and went with CRYSTAL’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE that I just changed to CRYSTAL AND DAISY MAE’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE. The only thing was that I wanted my site to be more than just photos, I wanted to blog on that site too. Daisy Mae officially became part of the website as of January 1, 2018. I had so many ideas for a name.

Hello Everyone, I’m excited. Why? Because I finally hit 500 likes on CRYSTAL’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE . My actual on Likes is 502 Likes. I am so happy.

I know to some people 500 Likes is no big deal but to me it’s an achievement for me since I’m new at this blogging thing. Sure I have fun and I enjoy meeting people from different places.

WordPress is a good site to start your blog or blogs on. I’ve found that WordPress.com isn’t just any blogging site but is a site that has 4 types of blogging plans and you choose the one that fits you best, It has a Forum page, A Support page and a Contact page where Staff, Happiness Engineers and/or Members try their best to help you. I’ve used all 3 and sure was glad these were there.

What made you start blogging?

My best answer is curiosity and it look like fun.

How many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a tootsie pop?

A few.

What are your personal goals for the rest of this year and how are you meeting them?

With God’s help I’m meeting my goals.

If you could sing with any singer/band on stage, who would it be?

I think I would like to sing with Dave and Sugar, Abba or Carrie Underwood.

What is your biggest personal struggle?

Not judging people when they are protesting something I don’t agree with. A lot of times I feel the problems are brought on by themselves.

One of my proudest moments was when I accepted Jesus as my Saviour and another proud moment was when I graduated with my second degree. I have 2 degrees an Associate Degree In Elementary Education and a BS Degree in Sociology. I also survived bullying.

Probably my Mom and Dad.

1. You have 20,000 books on your TBR. How in the world do you decide what to read next? I read the back of the books and read the interesting sounding books first.
2. You’re halfway through a book and you’re not just loving it. Do You Quit or are you committed? Most of the time I’m committed but sometimes I have to just quit.
3. The end of the year is coming and you’re so close, but so far away on your Goodreads challenge. Do you try and catch up and how? If I were taking a Goodreads challenge, I would try to catch up by reading as many books as I could.
4. The covers do. not. match.  How do you cope? Don’t worry about it.
5. Everyone and their mother loves a book you don’t like. Who do you bond with over shared feelings. I let my opinion be made known and hope I can still bond with my book friends.
6. You’re reading a book and you’re about to start crying in public. How do you deal? I usually don’t read in public so problem solved.
7. A sequel of a book you loved just came out, but you’ve forgotten a lot from the prior novel. Will you re-read the book? Skip the sequel? Try to find a synopsis on Good reads? I would probably re-read the book.
8. You Do Not Want Anyone. ANYONE. Borrowing your books. How do you tell people nope when they ask? Just Say No. Family is a little bit harder to turn down.
9. Reading ADD. You’ve picked up and put down 5 books in the last month. How do you get over your reading slump. Put the book down and watch tv. Take a break.
10. There are so many new books coming out that you’re dying to read! How many do you actually buy? I’m unemployed so not many.
11. After you’ve bought the books you can’t wait to get to, how long do they sit on your shelf before you get to them. It depends on my TBR books. Also, if I’m in the middle of a book, I’ll finish the book first.

My childhood picture is Below. It is actually my 2 sisters and I but it’s the best I could do. I am the kid on the right. I apologize that the picture isn’t good but we didn’t have digital cameras and this is a picture of a reproduced picture.

I had several nicknames but the one that really stuck was red.

The Story Of How Crystal’s Photo-Blogging Site Started

CRYSTAL’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE started about April 2017 after I had started my main site, WELCOME TO CRYSTAL’S SITE(ORIGINALLY COUNTRY LIVING) .

I started CRYSTAL’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE mostly because I like to take pictures but I have reblogged a few posts, wrote a few posts and dabbled in writing some poetry.

Since I started meeting the blogging community, I’ve met some nice blogging friends.

Currently, I’m taking some blogging courses to help me out with blogging. Since starting blogging, I’ve found that I really enjoy myself and find it fun.

Since I haven’t been blogging long, my story is short. I’ve got a game camera and just love seeing what animals come to my backyard and sometimes post them.

1.) What’s your favorite season?

That would be either Spring or Summer.

The  nearest book is my diary/journal. This is what page 18 line 4 says. then to Rite Aid then to Ponderosa to what… I told you it was Boring.

3.) Who was the last person you texted.

Don’t have a phone so I don’t text.

4.) Before you started this survey, what were you doing?

Sitting on the front porch with the Spiders and my parents.

Just started watching the Steelers vs. Indiana game. Depressing.☹☹

The commentators calling the  Steelers game.

9.) What’s your favorite month?

December. Mainly because my birthday is in December and that’s when Christ was            born too.

Not really. Only certain kinds.

PC. I’m on it now.

12.) Do you remember your dreams?

Sometimes. Usually I wake up before the end so I rarely know how they end.

13.) When did you last laugh?

Today. I try to laugh and/or chuckle daily. Smiling is contagious.

Like Rose , I think we’re talking about puppies.

The closest to Canada I ever got was that I went to Niagara Falls.

Depends.

Occasionally

Not Sure. I haven’t seen a movie or film in years.

Good question. I think I’d put the money in my account wait then go from there.

When I was in school many years ago, I hated school. Mostly because I was picked                on/bullied.

Yes. Mostly contacts but wear glasses sometimes.

Math- Yuck. I hated all subjects.

None since I don’t have I-tunes.

I would say it’s equal most of the time.

I had 3 favorite foods and still do. Hot Wings, Popcorn and Fudge.

I got my first computer for Christmas a few years ago and just upgraded to a digital           camera last year. The phone-well I still don’t have one.

No. Don’t keep pop in the house.

No. Don’t own a car.

1. What is the inspiration behind your blog content?  When I started CRYSTAL’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE, I started it because I like to take pictures  and sharing them gives me joy. I hope by sharing them on my post I want people to not just enjoy them but maybe they’ll find them interesting too. It’s like poetry through pictures. Doing a site with mostly pictures is tough but I enjoy it a lot. Through my pictures I hope to inspire people.
2. What is your favorite time of the year and why? My favorite time of the year would be December 19th to December 25th.  My birthday is within this time period. Also, I have always loved Christmas not just for presents either, I like Christmas because that is when Christ was born.
3. What is your favorite book and why? (Or movie if you don’t read) Like PENandPAPER my favorite book is the Bible too.

However in worldly books I like all mystery/suspense books.
