On January 21, 2018, I asked you to caption my squirrel picture which is above. I want to thank everyone who sent me captions for the above picture. The captions were so good I had a hard time choosing. I finally decided on the caption that kittiesblue from The Cat On My Head. You’ll see the winning caption above. Congratulations.
Please note that I’ll probably ask for help with captioning other pictures in the future.
Thanks Again Everyone.
Good Day Everyone and I hope you are staying warm in this cold weather “Mother Nature” decided to give us for Christmas.
Here is a slideshow of our first “real” snow. We’ve had snow flurries before but this was our first snow with any real accumulations. Our deer, birds and other critters were cold band very hungry. I’m glad we were able to feed them.
Below is a slideshow of the snow and deer and the slideshow starts out with what it looks like before the snow started and what it looked like on December 19, 2017.
Enjoy the slideshow.
Hello everyone, Daisy Mae and I wanted to share this Turkey picture with you and wish you a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
You see our Game Camera caught a shot of a turkey flapping his feathers. How funny is this? Do you think he possibly could be saying DON’T EAT TURKEY FOR THANKSGIVING EAT HAM?
What’s your caption for this picture?
🍗🍗🍗🍗🍗🍗🍗🍗HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!🍗🍗🍗🍗🍗🍗🍗🍗
THE ABOVE SLIDESHOW ABOVE HAPPENS ON OCTOBER 16, 17 AND 19, 2017. 3 DAYS OF BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS.
Below is a picture of our Turkey with the white feathers.
In the picture above is a Turkey feather with some white on it in the bottom right-hand corner.
An old cat will not learn how to dance.
I named this picture A Pleasant Surprise because my nephew and his family thought the deer ate all his sunflowers. As it turns out, some of those sunflowers still bloomed. He was thrilled because he put a lot of work into planting them.
Below is the result of lots of hard work by this 15-year-old.
Hello Everyone, I’m in day 4 of day 14 of my blogging course and what I have today is brainstorm the kind of reader you hope will read your blog. Also, I have to embed media(images, videos and etc..) in my new post including some tags. I have decided to do my post on animals.
There are many different kinds of animals in this world and each animal helps us daily in one way or another. When you think about, we have dogs and cats that help us by being a companion, dogs are used in the military to help the soldiers and cats are used in nursing homes to help people get better.
Then there are zoo animals and animals from the woods. These animals believe it or not also help us in more ways than one. Some examples of zoo animals are: Gorillas, Kodiak Bears, orangutans and many more. Why are these animals so important? Gorillas, Kodiak Bears, Orangutans and other zoo animals help us by making us happy when we go to the zoo.
Animals from the woods like Bears, Turkeys, Squirrels, Deer just to name a few.
Bears help us because they give us a beautiful sight to see and they make us realize how powerful they are. Turkeys help us because we not only get to see how pretty they are but the fact we have an opportunity to hunt them for food. Squirrels are animals that help us because we have the opportunity to hunt them for food, Squirrels gather some nuts up for us so we don’t have to and squirrels are pretty to look at. Deer and Fawns help us because they’re beautiful to look at plus you have the opportunity to hunt them for food when they’re in season and you’re licensed.
Finally, Farm animals help us because once they’re raised to adulthood some farm animals are used for food, they also make good pets and companions. Ducks who are also farm animals and help us by making good pets, companions and sometimes even food.
Now that I’ve told you a little bit how some of these animals have helped us and will continue to help us daily, then you watch the news and what do you see? A lot of news about Hurricane Harvey and what damage that hurricane has caused. It has not only displaced a lot of people but a lot of animals too.
These animals need a lot of help and since they help us daily, I hope these animals get the help they need.
When we go to the zoo we go for entertainment not education but think of what we could learn from the animals at the zoo. Animals are great teachers. They can teach us a lot. What can animals teach us you ask? In my opinion, animals can teach us a lot. Animals can teach us how to:
- Take care of our kids.
- How animals and people should be treated.
- Animals gestures teach us not to take things for granted.
- Animals teach us they are not dumb.
These are only a few things animals teach us, so pay attention to the lesson there trying to teach us.
I mentioned animals can teach us a lot and taking care of their babies is one thing they excel at. Very rarely does an animal reject its baby. Animals are usually pretty loving to their babies and takes care of them very well.
Yes, I feel animals can teach us how they should be treated as well as people just by their expressions and gestures.
Animals have different expressions and gestures but be very careful because a caged up animal can turn on you at any second because their not tame. This teaches not to take animals for granted.
Animals aren’t dumb not by a long shot. In my opinion, a lot of animals are smarter than some people. Yes, we’ve all met animals and we’ve all met people. The verdict is usually the same. Animals come out smarter most of the time.
Please Don’t Abuse Or Neglect Animals!
Some animals are to be loving and stress-free pets. Other animals live in the wild. Either way, Don’t abuse or neglect them!
I’m including some links for abused and neglected animals if you want to read further.
