Hi all, as you may or may not know it is my birthday month and birthday party goes to October 12th. My 13th birthday was on September 12, 2019. I’m almost a Crotchety Cougar. Mew Mew. I’m doing 3 blog hops in 1 post.
Hi all, you know I just had my 13th birthday. Well my Human Mom told me I could take over this post and if I do well, I can do it again sometime. So I ask you purrty please, please tell my Human Mom how well I did. Thank you all in advance. Now onto Friday Fill – Ins.
1. I think it would be fun to travel but not sure I really want to.
2. I have a hankering for friendship andsleep and lots of it.
3. Getting stuck in a hole/ tunnel in the Basement is a memory I’ll never forget.
4. If I were given the choice to immortal, I would pass on the opportunity. You see, I miss all my sisters and would want to see them and make sure they’re doing their jobs correctly. Also, I’ve liked my life through now and just love my Human family who gave me a furrever home. They’re purry special to me.
Now how many times have you spent your time in your kitchen cooking something you think everyone will eat only to find out their are children or grandchildren who won’t eat it. Well guess what? I thought, wouldn’t it be great to find something everyone will like and to boot it’s quick and easy to make and you won’t spend all your time in the kitchen. Sound Great. The below recipe is from Pillsbury’s site and the original recipe link is: Easy Bacon-Cheddar Sweet Hawaiian Rolls .
I do this blog hop and it’s really fun to do and it helps bring more traffic to your blog too. This blog hop is over at Esme’s Senior Salon. The link to her blog for this week’s Senior Salon is: Senior Salon Blog Hop and Esme’s blog link is: Esme’s Blog
Hi and Welcome Everyone, if you have owned a cat, dog or any type of pet for that matter then you probably know what I’m talking about. So what is a Daisy Mae scare you ask? Glad you asked. A Daisy Mae scare is basically a cat scare where you almost lose you cat or pet. Daisy Mae is my cat’s name and almost lost her twice this past week so this post was almost a different type of post. But the first time you think you are going to lose a pet you get so nervous you think you might pass out. However, you don’t.
You have to understand my family and I have had Daisy Mae from around 4 weeks old. My little Daisy Mae has turned into a 13 year old kitty cat. So that’s a Daisy Mae scare in a nutshell. So all you have to do is if you’ve had one of these scares you can call them (your pet’s name) scare. Most pet owners know what I’m talking about.
If you’re looking at the title Title Tigger and wondering who is that? Tigger was my last cat. None of you got to meet my Grey Striped Tabby cat Tigger because she died on 9-11-2015 and I didn’t start blogging until January 2017.
In a nutshell, my family and I rescued Tigger out of a very bad situation she was in all through her kittyhood. She didn’t like men for whatever reason. I’m happy to say she eventually made friends with Daisy Mae and in the end made friends with my Dad too.
I wanted to do a tribute to my last cat Tigger who was a Grey Striped Tabby Cat. Tigger died on September 11, 2015 and this year marks the fourth year death anniversary.
I miss Tigger daily as well as think of her daily. I look for a whole lot of Butterflies on 9-11 to celebrate her life.
I wanted to do do something special for Tigger so I wrote a poem for her.
QUEEN DAISY MAE SHOWING OFF HER GREY AND WHITE BELLY.
Hi all, September is Daisy Mae’s Birthday Month roughly. I say roughly we had to guess when we she found us. If we are figuring right, Daisy Mae was around 4 weeks when we got her. We do know she’s been alive 13 years with us come September 12th a day after we lost my other cat Tigger. So Daisy Mae spent a few years with us while we still had Tigger.
This is what Daisy Mae has asked and of course, I couldn’t say no. She wants to party all month and would like you to visit us especially on September 12. Consider yourselves invited to her 13th birthday party. Hope to see you there. We’ll be celebrating all month.
I’m going to show you a picture of Daisy Mae all ready for her birthday party.
I just finished several books but one book that really stood out in my opinion was the paperback version of The Complete Virtue and Valor Series by Hallee Bridgeman. *Please Note* I won this book in a random survey drawing from the author’s newsletter and this review is of my honest opinions.
Before I get to my rating of the book, you must understand how I rate books. I don’t just read a book but I study, analyze, ask myself is this a fun book to read or serious book. Does it live up to the kind of book it’s suppose to be? Could it happen in today’s world? Does it have vulgar language, is it to graphic, what type of audience can read it? There are more questions I ask myself too. Now you know how I go about rating a book. Does my rating on a book ever change? Sometimes but not very often.
My rating for The Complete Virtue and Valor Series book is 5+ stars. It’s an excellent book. It’s 8 books in 1. Very well done
Eight serialized novellas, each inspired by real people and actual events, reveal the incredible story of amazing heroes and heroines facing the ultimate of bravery. Hallee Bridgeman did a fantastic job on writing these novellas based on real life events and real people.
I hope enjoy this book review. I also hope you read this book because I recommend it very highly.
**Full Disclosure** I won this book in a random survey drawing. This is a prize I’ll cherish forever.
