Sounds great doesn’t it? When you comment “in” you will be sent instructions along the line of:
It sounds great doesn’t it? What a simple way to get 25 books! Worst case, you send a single book and only get 1 or 2 books back, right?
WRONG!
This is a pyramid scheme and it is illegal in the United States. Not only do you run the risk of not getting books you run the risk of getting into legal trouble.

I had no idea that was illegal. I have done this with recipes exchanges. Is that illegal? I know I didn;t get many recipes.

I don’t know if your recipe one was illegal or not but this book exchange is. I just found out about today. How can people be so low. I think this book exchange is illegal because they ask you for something but they might not send you books. So you’re out a book, and possible identity theft. Just be very careful.

I think recipes are legal because the letter chain version is legal. It becomes illegal when it involves items that cost money. It had something to do with using the mail system for gambling which I think is a little bit of a stretch, but its not something I want to mess with!
