No we don’t still have snow on the ground thankfully. This gallery of wildlife is from January.
CRYSTAL AND DAISYMAE’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE is joining The Cat on My Head for Sunday Selfie Blog Hop.
Everyone has their routine and something tells me watching the news falls in your routine somewhere. If it doesn’t, you’re lucky because the news is usually depressing anyway unless you have something like Royal wedding or a bunch of ducklings being rescued from a sewer drain and reunited with the mother duck(which actually did happen).
In my part of the world(don’t know about yours) the news is talking about bullying, sexual assault accusations, Trump canceling and un-canceling the summit with North Korea, a lot of protesting over blacks getting shot and even more depressing news which I’m not going to list. I’m not trying to be mean but if you don’t follow commands you might get shot.
#Bullying is very real. Bullying not only happened when I went to school and it happened a lot. Only Back then it wasn’t called bullying it was called being picked on continuously…

No, we don’t still have snow. The picture is from January 15, 2018.
Thanks to Crystal for inviting me to do this guest blog. I started the Feline Cafe blog 8 years ago on Blogger when my wife was home dying of cancer and I was caring for her 24 / 7. I had six cats at the time. For a little diversion I began to try making a blog. My wife died shortly after I started in 2010. The six cats kept me busy. They didn’t care if I was depressed or not. Their needs had to be met! At first I blogged cats and other topics; then I blogged just cat subjects; and finally I changed to a “photographic” cat blog which is where we are at today. Three of the original six cats are still on the blog. They are Opie and Zeke– 8 year old Maine Coons; and Marigold a creamy orange long haired cat age 15. A fourth cat named Scooby age 8, a big red tabby who arrived in 2015, was adopted out of a shelter by me.
Many years back I built a “cat run” which was the name given a “catio” before the word was coined. I liked to take photos of the cats outside in it and posted many them; and today I have a number of such photos here. In the past sometimes I let the cats out in the backyard and stayed with them trying to “herd” them, but it could be nerve racking trying to keep them from going where they shouldn’t like up a tree! Especially hard if one cut to the right and one cut to the left! I don’t let them walk free outside any more. Scooby was leash-trained by a former owner, I discovered, so he can go on walks on the leash.
I try to keep the posts light hearted. That’s about it really. Below are a few sample photos I like:
This week on Caturday Art with Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty I’ve cubed my last cat Tigger who is now an angel since she passed over that Rainbow Bridge on 9-11-2015 and I’ve also cubed my current cat Daisy Mae(AKA Queen Daisy Mae).
Our Trail camera caught what I call STRANGE PICTURES and would like your opinion on what these pictures could be of. In the Photo Gallery there are 7 photos. If you want to you can even caption them to have a little fun. Why not because we all need some fun. Enjoy the Photo Gallery.
Queen Daisy Mae And I can’t wait to see your comments on what these Strange Pictures are of.Whatever it is, it sure didn’t bother the Deer. We want to thank you in advance for your Views, Likes, Comments, Shares and Reblogs. When you do any or all of these it’s appreciated.
Once Again Thank You,
